What we offer

Zac Macaulay Films based near London and has a small number of specialised crew expert in the production of underwater filming, underwater lighting, boating requirements (rib or hard hull) and underwater safety all under one roof.

Zac has over 20 years experience working underwater as a DOP and / or camera operator providing underwater film sequences for film, TV and commercials alike, shooting on location or in specialised underwater film studios, with full specialist production facilities that are associated with the job. We are as happy shooting in purpose-built flooded studios, as on location in open water.

We and our team are fully HSE qualified.

Kit / Arri Alexa Mini & LF Nauticam Housing

We own the brand new Nauticam Arri Alexa Mini and LF housing which houses both these cameras. This has full WCU4 control of the camera and lens from the surface if required using the reliable cforce mini RF motor system.

Kit / Red / Gates

We own and operate with a Red Epic Dragon (6K) or Helium (8K) housed in a Gates Deep Weapon Housing. This has full WCU4 control of focus from the surface.

Surface Feed & Shots

Both the above cinema camera systems offer live view feed. We also can offer 8 or 10 inch domes or flat ports for split level shots.

Owning most our cameras, lenses and housings allows us to provide a cost effective solution for your underwater production.

We own and shoot with the new Panasonic GH5 / Seacam combination which competes with some pro movie cameras in terms of quality, shooting 4K at 25, 30, 50 or 60p also in 1080 at 100 or 180p. It also has built in image stabilizer for smooth shooting.
